The code for this model is entered by pressing buttons on the remote control in a set sequence. We are able to Decode the CDX-M600R via E-Mail, simply click on the link below for more instructions. If you have lost your remote control, then please let us know when purchasing this decode from us, and we will tell you how to turn off the code function.

There are removal keys available for this stereo, but we have found them unecessary if you follow the following procedure. To remove the Radio, you will first need to carefully remove the outer trim. With the fascia in the open position, you will see two recessed silver vertical spring clips at either side that are retaining the outer trim. If you gently apply a bit of pressure on these clips through the recessed hole the outer trim will pop off. Once removed, apply a small amount of pressure to the clips in an inward direction, ie: pull the clips towards each other. As you are doing so, gently pull them forwards and the stereo will come out. The leads can then be unplugged.
