Nissan CT100

Clarion Radio / Cassette as fitted to Nissan vehicles.

This stereo is specifically coded to the engine immobiliser system of the vehicle it came out of and is often referred to as a "MARRIED" unit. When it is first powered up, it will communicate with the engine immobiliser, and a message of "WAIT" will appear whilst this process is in operation. If communication has been successfull, it may then prompt for a code to be entered. However, if plugged into another vehicle other than the original one, it will not recognise the engine immobiliser and will not allow a code to be entered. Instead it will lock up and display an error message of "SECURE". This does mean though, that this model cannot be simply transferred from one vehicle to another without some serious reprogramming. We are able to decode and reset this unit for use in another vehicle if you send it to us.

The radio will require an extensive section of the centre dashboard to be removed in order to gain access to the removal screws that hold it in place.
