Nissan 28113-2F000 Radio Code Decode Service

Blaupunkt Radio / Cassette as fitted to a wide range of Nissan Vehicles including the Micra.

This stereo is specifically coded to the engine management system of the vehicle it came out of using very sophisticated technology. When it is first powered up, it will communicate with the engine management, and a message of "WAIT" or "SECURITY" will appear whilst this process is in operation. If communication has been successfull, it will prompt for the code to be entered as shown below. If your radio is asking for a Code "----", and you do not know it, then we are able to supply your code number via email if you follow the instructions on the link below.

However, if plugged into another vehicle other than the original one, it will not recognise the engine management and may not allow a code to be entered. If the display shows the error message of "SECURE" then it will have to be sent to us to be reprogrammed for use in your vehicle.

This radio is bolted in place by four bolts, and these will be hidden beneath the dashboard trim. Removal of the trim will depend largely on the vehicle it is fitted to, but should not present any real problems. Please contact us for details if you are unsure how to go about this. Once the four bolts that secure the radio frame have been removed, the stereo will come out in a rather large lump and can then be unplugged.
