This is actually a very easy stereo to remove, and yet the one we get most phone calls about! If you look just under the bottom edge of the stereo, two small indentations can be seen at the rear lower edge of the front fascia. Two flat strips need to be inserted at this location and pushed backwards about 2 inches. With these wedges in place, the stereo can be gently eased forwards taking care not to put any pressure on the fragile side edges. The leads can then be unplugged.
