Clarion stereo as fitted to Saab.

This stereo is specifically coded to the engine management system of the vehicle it came out of using the very sophisticated VIN CODE system technology. If this is plugged into another vehicle it will simply come up with an error message. This does mean though, that it cannot be simply transferred from one vehicle to another.

Saab dealers may tell you that this stereo cannot be reprogrammed to go into another vehicle, but then thats what they said about other models, before we managed to disable and turn off the VIN CODE system !!

We are currently working on turning off the VIN CODE system on this model, and would ask you to get in touch with us prior to sending us this model.
