Removal of the radio is a little tricky to remove from the car, and care must be taken not to scratch or damage the sides of the radio or the dashboard. You will need to remove the outer trim to expose the metal catch down the sides of the radio. The removal tools are then inserted down the sides until a click is felt and the radio can then be pulled forwards. If you must put your fingers through the cassette flap for leverage, take care not to bend the lower edge of the flap. The stereo is generally a very tight fit, hence the struggle. The radio can then be withdrawn and the leads unplugged.
