There are several versions of this CDC2 Changer and it is important to use the correct one with the correct head unit as they are not interchangeable. This particular version is designed to run in conjunction with the Philips CCRT700 head unit.

The code number for the stereo and CD changer are different, so care must be taken to ensure that the correct code is entered when prompted. The Code for the head unit must be entered prior to entering the code for the CD changer.

Please note that code entry is only possible with the ignition switched on, and in the order shown. If the display continually shows "CD-SAFE" and a number less than "10" then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, or the display shows "CD-SAFE" with no number to the left, then you are not following the correct code entry procedure, and your ignition has not been switched on. If all of your code entry attempts have been used up, the unit will need to be sent to us to be decoded and reset. Please contact us for the cost of this service.

Removal of the Changer is fairly straightforward and is often nothing more than a few bolts holding the changer to the mounting frame. In some cases, it may be easier to remove the mounting frame from the vehicle.
