This Unit is activated by using the Blue Blaupunkt MASK Key Transmitter. When the unit is first switched on, you will see the shown message displayed and the unit will wait for you to press and hold the button on the MASK Key so that the code can be transmitted.

If you are reading this, then you have probably misplaced or damaged your Blue Mask Key. Replacement Keys are no longer available, but don`t worry, as we have found a solution.


If You have lost your Blue Mask Key Transmitter, we can reprogram this radio so that it is no longer required, but you will need to send the unit to our workshop for this work to be carried out. Approx turnaround time is 48 hours from receipt to dispatch.

To remove the Radio, you will first need to remove the outer trim, this is simply clicked in place, but take care not to pull too hard in case the plastic lugs are damaged. Insert the removal keys until a click is felt down the sides and then withdraw the radio. The leads at the rear can then be unplugged.

Important:

We will also need you to send us the Black Box Hideaway Tuner, but we do not need any cables or leads.
