Phantom Lead

This signal separation filter is used when upgrading the OEM stereo equipment in many VW and SEAT vehicles.

If you have a beesting antenna on the rear of your car, chances are that it is an electrically amplified version, and the original stereo would have switched this on by means of sending an electrical signal up the centre of the aerial lead. If you have replaced the stereo, this unit will still allow the antenna signal to be switched on and restore reception.
