One of the most common faults on the Alfa Romeo ICS System is for the LCD display backlight to fail, making the screen either very dim, or completely dark and virtually impossible to view anything on it.

As a quick diagnostic check, the rest of the stereo will function as normal, and in some cases, you may just about see some feint characters on the screen if viewed at an angle to any external light.

If it appears as though a bulb has failed, it hasn`t, its far more serious than that, but don`t worry, we we can help you.




It must be pointed out that Alfa Romeo no longer offer any spares or technical support for this radio, and we at DND Services Ltd have now exclusively commissioned some spare parts to be specially manufactured, so that we may continue to repair and service this fault for many years to come.

This fixed price repair service is for the repair of the display driver circuit only, and if any other faults are found, or the unit has been tampered with, then we reserve the right to provide an estimate for any additional work that may be required.
